Internally threaded labrets have the thread on the top part of the jewellery, the labret itself has the thread inside and not on the outside so it wont irritate or damage your piercing when inserting. Titanium Belly Bars from JoBananas Body Jewellery are top qulaity 6AL-4V Titanium, the bottom ball measures 8mm so that it sits comfortably in your navel piercing and the top ball is 5mm. The bars are available in 6mm (1/4″), 8mm (5/16″), 10mm (3/8″), 12mm (1/2″) or 14mm (9/16″)
If you are not sure what size you need have a look at our body jewellery measuring guide, it is important that you wear the correct length of jewellery in your navel piercing, if it is too tight it will pinch the skin, too long and it may catch on your clothing. Usually people are pierced with 12mm (1/2″) Belly Bars, once the swelling goes down the piercing generally settles at 10mm (3/8″) this is why we call this size “standard” on our website. However we say “usually”, please remember that everyone is individual as are navels! Sizes vary in person to person and so do piercings. You may find that over time your piercing may get shorter, in some cases growing out all together, sometimes settling at 8mm or 6mm.
Titanium is extremely popular in piercings as it is less likely to cause a hypersensitive skin reaction, it is lightweight and it is available in lots of different colours.
Titanium colours available are Highly Polished, Bronze, Brown, Ice Blue, Blue, Yellow, Peach, Pink, Purple, 2 Tone Purple Blue, Teal (Purple Green) or Rainbow.
