Micro Titanium BCR

1mm (18g) Titanium ball closure rings (captive bead rings) aare now available in 13 amazing colours:

These BCRs are top quality UK manufactured 6AL-4V Titanium and they are available with 3 different diameter measurements – 7mm, 9mm and 11mm.  They are great for lip piercings, eyebrow piercings, ear piercings – tragus, helix, pinna (helix) , rook, auricle, daith, orbital, lobe, snug, as well as other places.

The ball of these closure rings just pushes out, it has 2 tiny dimples, 1 each side which the ring pushes into, it then holds together and stays in place.

Ear Stretching Kits that consist of a taper with a tunnel that screws onto the end of it, when you are done with the taper and the tunnel is in place you can screw on the other end of the tunnel to give the appearance of a double flared eyelet.

If you confused as to what size you need our Body Jewellery Measuring Guide should help.  Navel Piercings are usually 1.6mm (14 Gauge) in thickness and can be anywhere between 6mm and 16mm in length.  The length of a belly bar is taken in a straight line between the two balls – the curve is not measured, nor are the balls.

People are usually pierced at 12mm – 14mm (depending on lots of factors) to allow for initial swelling, once the swelling has gone down and the navel piercing begins to heal the piercing usually settles down at 10mm – 12mm, sometimes the piercing stays at that length and sometimes the body rejects the piercing and the piercing “migrates” and gets smaller, very occasionaly growing out all together.

It is always good to wear a belly bar that fits you just right, if it is too long it may catch on your clothing and irritate the piercing, if it is too short it will cause the piercing to be sore and uncomfortable.

We have added some great new Ear Piercing Barbells to our website this week, lots of different colours and styles.  The bars are steel 1.2mm x 6mm (1/4″) so they are really popular for upper ear, tragus, helix and lobe piercings.
